That's right, you heard it hear first and I'm making the claim, this BDG I purchased on the 16 of August 2008 is the first full production limited edition Black Dog released in the world.

In fact, apparently they are all held up in the factory waiting for Joe to sign certificates and won't be shipped till near the end of the month!

AND it sounds AWESOME! I love it. Sounds a lot like my JS3.

So how did I get it so early? I may let out some information about the interesting history of this guitar later, once they've been officially released.

I'd like to claim it's also signed, but the spare plate Joe signed for me has a different hole pattern! Bugger. I'll have to ask Joe to sign the one that came with the BDG.
